Successful Grant Completion in 2017
MVGA recently completed its food hub grant this past summer. Here are some of the highlights:
- Designed and implemented a wholesale food supply chain connecting small farmers and chefs within the region
- Partner with Azoti LLC who provide our 24/7 procurement software and sales team throughout Ohio
- Continually expand NW Ohio produce variety and volume capabilities for buyers
- Nearly 20 small farmers participating in the program
- Purchased refrigerated delivery truck
